TERI’s Country School, established in 1978, is a private, non-public special education school and is certified by the State of California. We serve students who are privately placed or on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and referred by Public School Districts (PSD). If a student is referred by a PSD, their tuition is funded by that PSD. 

Students in our Country School program receive research-based, best practice instruction and support that allows them to benefit from academic instruction in a safe and highly individualized educational setting. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is used to improve the ability to manage challenging environments and situations. 

The Country School is a California Department of Education approved private special education school and tuition is paid through the student’s home school district or privately. It operates on a traditional school calendar year and based upon enrollment, summer classes are available.
