We asked Laurie a few questions to get to know her better.

How long have you worked at TERI?

About 14 years minus a 2 year break.

What is your favorite part of working with our clients and students at TERI?

I love coming to work at The Country School and seeing the staff support each other and creating a culture that is both fun and full of professional growth opportunities. The students feel the love from our staff. It truly is a trickle down effect from Shane to the staff to the students. My favorite thing to witness is when staff work together to find solutions in providing a rich learning environment for our students.

What's one thing people don't know about you that they would be surprised to find out?

I think people might be surprised to know that I am learning how to make and sell wooden trays and stands in my fiancé's workshop. I will be taking woodshop classes at Palomar to increase my experience using power tools!

What is one thing that you have on your bucket list?

I would like to plan an overseas with my parents and daughters!

What show are you currently binge-watching?

Shark Tank. Every night. And Undercover Bosses.
