Ways to Volunteer
While program support is always needed, there are several ways to make a difference. We offer a variety of volunteer experiences that allow you to share your talents and match your schedule. We are excited about your interest in TERI and supporting our students.
Below are a few of the many current opportunities:
- Therapeutic Equestrian Program
Equestrian volunteers are needed for general horse care, lesson assistance and stable maintenance. The program is almost 100% reliant on volunteer support and in-kind donations. Equestrian background is preferred, but not necessary. Training is available. The program operates 7 days a week and offers a flexible schedule for volunteers. - Potpourri on the Coast
This retail establishment serves as both a vocational training site for our adult clients and our students as well as a source of income for the agency. Volunteers assist staff with operating the cash register, customer service, answering phones, marketing, displays, and stocking inventory. - Supporting direct care for adult activities
The Center for Art and Adult Education provides experiences in music, art, crafts, vocational services, volunteerism, and life skills to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Volunteers share their skills by assisting instructors in the classroom, planning special activities, or presenting concerts. - Administrative Assistance
TERI administrative offices provide support for Accounting, Development, Education, Human Resources, and Reception. Volunteers assist with data entry, answering phones, event planning and much more!
