Equestrian Center Loses a Long-Time Friend

One of TERI's long-time therapeutic riding horses has passed away. Woody was with our program for nine years and was a favorite with all of our beginner and adult students because of his extreme patience and gentle demeanor. He suffered from heart problems and spent the last few weeks taking long naps, getting massages, and being fed horse treats and apples by the students, volunteers and staff that loved him so much. Woody passed away in his sleep in the early A.M. hours on March 30th. He was 28 years, preceded in death by his lifelong buddy Beau.

TERI's Capital Campaign Committee has done an extraordinary job raising funds toward the Center for Research & Life Planning. To date, we've raised 9.5 million dollars toward Phase 1. With a finish-line in sight for Phase 1 and the barn vertical and magnificent, the Harriet E. Pfleger Therapeutic Equestrian Center is almost complete.
