TERI's Newest House

In May 2011, we celebrated the opening of Michalowski House, TERI's 11th residential program!
Four young men have moved into the Bressi Ranch residence, which will serve as an international model for young men with autism. In addition to the specialized programs and highest quality services and support, the home features a gluten-free, casin-free menu to accommodate the young men's specific dietary needs. The staff supporting these young men include a nurse, a supervisor, direct care staff, speech, recreation, and nutritional consultants.
For their families, the move has been a milestone. Assuring the future for their sons has brought them great peasce of mind, albeit with the angst many parents feel when their children leave home. But just as others their age pack up and go off to college, so too do these young men now step into their future; a future of greater independence, of lifelong learning, a future of possibilities. A life of their own.
