2012 Summer Performance and Graduation

The Learning Academy Summer Graduation and Performance will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. This year we are celebrating the graduation of 3 students; Brittaney, Eli and Josh As usual, there will be musical perfomances by staff and students and celebration among all! 5th Annual Surfin' Fire Surf Camp

It’s time for the 5th Annual Surfin’ Fire Surf Camp!!! Once again we are being offered the opportunity to participate in a “surf camp” day. This is being offered by SURFIN’ FIRE which is owned by John Peters, a City of Carlsbad firefighter. The event date is June 5th, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 2:15 PM. Surfin’ Fire is offering four 45 minute sessions with 10 students in each session. This is one of the staff and students favorite days of the year! Students who are not able to participate in the surf instruction get to come have a beach day! All are welcome to come and "play hooky" as we experience one of the best days of the year and watch our students shine!!

Upcoming Events A Farmer’s market will be held at the Learning Academy east parking lot on April 19, 2011, from 12:30-2:30 PM in honor of April as Autism Awareness Month. ALL ARE WELCOME TO COME!!!! Get ready for the 4th Annual Surfin’ Fire Surf Camp! We will be sending out permission slips at the end of April so be on the look out! There will only be 20 spots available for TLA students and it is first come, first served!! The surf camp is scheduled to be held on 5/23/11! Clubs The Learning Academy now has eight clubs!
