Elementary Class We have recently begun volunteering at the Felicita Park every other Tuesday as part of our Kiwanis Community Service. We have helped water plants, spread mulch, and pick up trash. We are looking forward to helping out as much as we can. We will be holding a spring time sale in April to raise money for the Red Cross to support survivors in Japan. Open House on March 30th featured State Projects by students. This involved selecting a state, completing research on that state, and creating a project to accompany a written paper. Middle School We have been hard at work raising money for Kiwanis. We have had two Float Fridays (root beer floats), a bake sale, a book sale, and also sold Valentine’s Day Cupid Grams. The class earned a total of $200.10. The students voted to make care packages for military personnel overseas and make a donation to The Country School being built on the new property.The class has a field trip coming up to visit the Escondido Water Treatment Facility.
