It is with great pleasure that we inform you that TERI’s residential program was selected as the training site for 42 new federal surveyors from across the United States. These surveyors were in San Diego to learn about the ICF/DD-H regulations that govern all TERI residential homes. It is truly an honor that The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), located in Washington D.C., chose TERI’s programs as a site to train their licensing surveyors. This circles back to our early years of service provision when TERI was cited as a model program in the state and provided training to state-level licensing evaluators in order to elevate quality standards in California.
TERI’s residential program was selected for this national honor due to the uncompromised quality that is provided to every individual served in our programs. By receiving their training in TERI homes, these surveyors will apply TERI’s quality standards to programs throughout the U.S.. We are proud to share this significant accomplishment and national recognition with our families, as well as the well-deserved news that TERI has been recognized by a Federal agency as a leader in residential care in America.
