 In
August of 2001, TERI expanded its educational services to children
with the purchase of The Country School, located in San Marcos.
The Country School is both a private and a non-public school serving
children who have learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Asperger’s
Syndrome, or other forms of mild to moderate disabilities that affect
learning and social skills. Our motto for this school is “Helping
Students Realize Their Potential”, and we assist children
in meeting this goal by offering a strong focus on reading, writing,
mathematics, social skills, the arts, and social sciences. The Country
School serves as a transition site for children from the TERI Learning
Academy who no longer require the intensive levels of educational
and behavioral support provided in that program.
