Work in the community with adults with intellectual and behavior disorders. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Intensive on the job training provided to the right people. Active Treatment, Behavior Modification, PABS/ABST, CPR and 1st aid in accordance with the individual education plans (IEPs). Shift: M-F, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Salary: $13.50/hr with the potential to raise to $14.50/hr after 1 year on the job experience +. 56.5 cents/mile personal vehicle mileage/usage reimbursement + Benefits. Job Requirements: Must have at least an AA degree or equivalent credits, criminal history background check, minimum 3 years acceptable driving history, reliable personal transportation that may safely transport up to four individuals required.

 

Full-time. Supervises staff and clients at the Center for Art and Adult Education. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work of direct care staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems; developing creative, client-centered programs based on client assessment; working with the community to develop new training sites; providing direct client care as needed; providing behavioral support. Must be able to work as an enthusiastic part of a team. Shift M-F/Days. Salary: $32, 000 - $35, 000/yr + Benefits. Job Requirements: acceptable driving record, criminal history background check, Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in education or related field from a four-year college or university and one year related work experience with developmental disabilities (DD); or Associate's Degree and two years related work experience with DD; or HS/GED and three years related work experience with DD. Previous supervisory experience required.

Full-time. Provide education and direct training, supervision, program planning and documentation to adults with developmental disabilities in classroom and community settings. Hands-on position. Shift: M-F/8:30am-3:30pm. Salary: $9.00-$11.00/hr Based on Education and Experience + Benefits. Job Requirements: HS/GED, 1 yr. related work experience and criminal history background check. Minimum 3 years acceptable driving history & ability to obtain Class B Driver's License required.

 

Part-time. Provide training & supervision to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. Shift:
Monday - Thursday from 10:00pm - 6:00am & Friday and Saturday 9:00pm - 8:00am. Salary: $10.00 - $14.00/hour. Job Requirements: HS/GED, and criminal history background check. Minimum 3 years acceptable driving history & ability to obtain Class B Driver's License required.

Full-time. The House Manager is directly responsible for management of the household functions and client's health care in a group home setting of adults with developmental disabilities. Duties include: Active Treatment, Behavior Modification, CPR and 1st aid in accordance with the individual education and program plans. Skills/ Requirements: HS/GED + 18 months experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities / training, one year supervisory experience preferred, minimum 3 years acceptable driving history & criminal background check, and ability to obtain Class B Driver's License required. Shifts: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 9:00am & 3:30pm - 9:00pm. Salary: $14.00 - $15.00/hr plus benefits.

Part-time. Provide training & supervision to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. Weekend Shifts: Saturday & Sunday 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm – 9:00pm, 3:00pm – 11:00pm or 8:00am – 8:00pm. Weekday Shifts: Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Salary: $9.50 - $10.00/hour. Job Requirements: HS/GED, Minimum 3 years acceptable driving history & criminal background check, and ability to obtain Class B Driver's License required. Entry Level Positions available.

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

FT or PT/Flexible Schedule.  Provide speech-language services for individuals with developmental disabilities at a private school located in Oceanside under the supervision of a speech-language pathologist.  Shift: Monday-Friday/Days.  Job Requirements: Must hold or be eligible for speech- language pathology assistant (SLPA) licensure. To be eligible, applicants must hold one of the following: 1) an AA from an accredited speech-language pathology assistant program, 2) a B.A. or B.S. in speech-language pathology or communication disorders program and completion of required field work experience. Salary: $17.00-$25.00/hour based on Education and Experience + benefits (full time).

Full-time. Provide education and instruction to a class of approximately 9students with developmental or learning disabilities. Shift: Monday-Friday/Days/Traditional school Year (September - June). Job Requirements: CA Special Education teacher credential. Moderate to severe credential and previous experience in multi-age, multi-grade, self-contained classroom or special education resource room and experience with Autism/Asperger's Syndrome preferred.
