Cuvee delle Vite
TERI’s 4th annual fundraiser, Cuvee delle Vite, on April 30th was TERI's most successful fundraiser to date. It was a hot day in San Marcos, with over 250 guests, we cut the ribbon for the grand opening of the Harriet E. Pfleger Therapeutic Equestrian Center. This was a monumental occasion, as it is the first Center to be complete on the Campus of Life
After the ribbon cutting ceremony, we cooled down in the tent and enjoyed food graciously donated and prepared by Vigilucci’s. Trinitas Cellars provided free wine tastings, and as always, student-artwork was a hit.
An exciting announcement at Cuvee was from Grant General Contractors who contributed $100,000 to help build TERI’s new campus. Cuvee delle Vite, raised over $230,000 – which is quite an accomplishment.

TERI (Training, Education, & Research Institute) is building one of the most innovative and exciting projects in San Diego that we want to bring to your immediate attention. TERI serves children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities for a lifespan and we believe that every individual with a disability has the right to lead a valued, meaningful, and fulfilling life of uncompromised quality in their community. We are building a Campus – a college for life, a unique opportunity for the special needs population to learn for life. This Campus—the Campus of Life—will centralize our myriad of services for those with autism and developmental disabilities. This move, from an industrial park in Oceanside to the hills of San Marcos, will create an inspirational, innovative, and therapeutic environment; save money, build capacity, serve our students better, and “green” our operations.
For more than 30 years, TERI has resided in an industrial park in Oceanside. We’ve worked with what we’ve had and we have been able to break down barriers for those with special needs. Our programs—residential homes, K–12 schools, and adult enrichment—are award-winning and set national and international standards for quality of care but now we are moving our renowned programs to one central location in the hills of San Marcos.
