My 5 senses are overwhelmed with gasping expressions...

Rolland Tizuela:

Five days a week I drive to a place where the money is tight but love is in abundance. This building is breathing, heavily. My 5 senses are overwhelmed with gasping expressions of neurological brilliance. Language is spoken through buttons, hands, voices and movements and each passing day, we see miraculous improvements. I walk through halls where eyes are constantly shifting but smiles stay fixed on the wellness of your heart. All of us here are masters of human interaction, but not all of us know it. We are cooks, athletes, artists and poets. We are modern day Einstein’s, but not all of us show it. We love unconditionally and when we’re upset we express it, but we’re always here for each other, so we learn not to stress it. Here we may not understand colors, or symmetry, the physics of flight or the cycles of life, but once were out of our cocoons’, we will leave you butterflies, we promise. I would love to say I have the best job in the world, but I don’t have a job. I have a way of life. I have the family. I am a piece of their puzzle. I am a student. I am a teacher. I am Teri.
